Sweden
Nordnet was founded in Sweden in 1996, and has been in the leading-edge of modern brokerage and banking services ever since. It is on the Swedish market where we currently offer our broadest range of services, from savings in stocks and mutual funds to banking products.
Today, Nordnet is being recognized for its advantageous user interface in the web service, as well as for posing a threat to the Jurassic banks. In 2009 and 2010, Nordnet was named Sweden’s best banking site in a prestigious ranking by the magazine Internetworld.
Nordnet's headquarters are situated in Alvik just outside Stockholm. In 2008, a trading arcade for the most active customers was established in central Stockholm. In the same premises, a customer center was opened in 2009.
On the Swedish pension market, Nordnet is steadily growing with both private individuals and companies appreciating our services. As legislation is easing up, more pension savers will get the opportunity to transfer their engagements to Nordnet.
